Fake gas inspection
Nedgia and other distributors write and book a date. The person at the door who wants cash «or we cut you off today» and shows a vest is not the technician.
How to spot it
No appointment confirmed by the company.
They want cash or Bizum on the landing.
The ID is a photocopy or they refuse a photo.
They threaten to cut the gas on the spot.
- Vest or folder with a lookalike logo.
- «Mandatory inspection by the Community» with no prior notice.
- Two people: one talks, one looks around the flat.
What to do
Ask for the ID and photograph it. Call the number on your bill, not the one they dictate.
Pay nothing at the door. An official inspection is billed, not collected in cash.
If they stay or push, call 092. If you already paid, report at a police station and keep the receipt.
